FIFA World Cup 1930 - 2014

FIFA WORLD CUP

The FIFA World Cup is the most important international men's soccer tournament at national team level in the world. This sporting event is held every four years since 1930 (in 1942 and 1946 was suspended due to World War II ).

It has two main stages: a qualifying process in which about 200 national teams participate and a final phase carried out in a venue defined in advance in which 32 participate.
